Volunteer Opportunities

How do we protect over 10,000 acres, maintain 8 Conservation Areas for public access, and facilitate free events each year? VOLUNTEERS!

Connect with us at info@otsegolandtrust.org or call 607-547-2366 to learn more about how you can help us conserve this amazing region. While our volunteer program has adjusted to the pandemic’s new normal, there’s still plenty to do!

Volunteer opportunities might include

  • Stewarding wood duck nesting boxes along on our public access lands.

  • Helping us maintain trails, pick up trash, check kiosks and registration boxes, etc.

  • Helping us wrap the 1,500 or so tree seedlings we give away to our community every fourth of July.

  • Office operations, like stuffing letters to our donors. Protecting land takes a lot of office work!

  • Gardening at Brookwood Garden.
